service, in Weber Chapel, Susquehanna University, The parents of the bride are Robert and Lucille Kerstetter, 141 Pennsylvania Sunbury. A resident of 283 Orange St. Northumberland, the bridegroom is the son of Tamara McCarthy, 428 S. Front Sunbury, Jay, Vincent McCarthy Catawissa RD2. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a white satin gown with re-embroidered raschel lace, a Queen Anne neckline, keyhole back with pearl strands, high-capped, tapered long sleeves and a full skirt with attached chapel-length train and cutout motifs.

A custom designed hat had lace appliques accented with silk flowers and pearl sprays. She carried silk pink and maroon roses, pink carnations, baby's breath, ivy and strings of pearl. Denise L. Emery of Selinsgrove was matron of honor for her sister. The bridesmaids were Renee Shoch of Columbia, Beth Ginck of Northumberland and Tammy Attinger of Trevorton.

Chosen as the junior bridesmaid was Elizabeth Telatovich of Sunbury. The flower girls were 4 Anna Telatovich and I Rachel Getkin, of Sunbury. Brian Ginck of Northumberland was the best man. Serving as the ushers were Bob Hand of Northumberland, Todd Portzline of Trevorton and SUNBURY Trinity Lutheran Church, Susquehanna Avenue, was the setting for a double ring ceremony uniting Sherry Louise Dorman and Steven Walter Welker in marriage. The bridesmaids were Melody Boardman, sister of the bride, and Jennifer Lucas, both of Sunbury; Lisa Walburn of Selinsgrove; Marilou Carty of East Brunswick, N.J., cousin of the bride; and Laura Fisher of Washington, D.C., cousin of the bridegroom.

Season Boardman of Sunbury, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. The best man was Jerry Drumm of Sunbury. Chosen as the ushers were Daniel H. Welker of Yonkers, brother of the bridegroom; William Ziegler of Sunbury; Michael Welker Mr. and Mrs.

Jay McCarthy Jr. Ty Konyar of Lewisburg. J.J. Getkin of Sunbury was the ring bearer. James Reaser of Milton provided the organ music.

A reception for 75 guests followed in Billman's Restaurant. After a honeymoon to Niagara Falls, the newlyweds are living at 283 Orange Northumberland. Mrs. McCarthy is a 1983 graduate of Shikellamy High School and a 1987 honors graduate of Susquehanna University. She is employed at Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit.

service March 31 was the Rev. Edward Black. Music was provided by Debi Adams of Elysburg, organist, and Cheri Plasters of Kulpmont, vocalist. A Shamokin resident, the bride is the daughter of Dean and Mary Lee Crowl of Elysburg. The bridegroom, also a resident of Shamokin, is the son of Richard Sr.

and Joann Shurock of Elysburg. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her cousin, Darla Poole of Mechanicsburg, as her matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Kim Plasters of Shamokin, sister of the bridegroom; Jennifer Swank of Elysburg; and Tina Amig of Mount Joy, cousin of the bride. The flower girls were Ericka Kwiatek of Virginia, cousin of the bridegroom, and Lauren Day of Shiremanstown, cousin of the bride. Steve Shalongo of Tempe, was the best man.

The ushers were Robert Plasters, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Kevin Olvany, both of Shamokin; and Doug Crowl of Elysburg, brother of the bride. A reception for 250 guests was held in Elysburg Firehall. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Welker of Atlanta, and James Welker of Bryn Mawr, brothers of the bridegroom; and Marcus Chikotas of Ashland.

Hassenplug-Brininger SELINSGROVE The marriage of Suzanne Antoinette Hassenplug and Jody Lee Brininger was solemized at 2 p.m.
